Creating Identifiers (aka Shortcuts)

Identifiers are shortcuts to any type of resource which you could find by using the add command.

For example, say I really want to quickly reference an artist without having to type out a whole query each time.

You can save a shortcut by using identifiers.

identify soundcloud artist (post malone) [malone]

This example above would search SoundCloud for the artist "post malone". It will ask you to select the artist you wanted and then it will save a reference to that artist for the future.

Identifiers are saved to your profile. So only you may use your identifiers and you can't reference other people's identifiers.

Now when you want to add Post Malone songs to the queue you can do so easily by referencing the identifier in the add command

add [malone]
