What do you (as the or one of the main contributor/s) think @nre-ableton?

It's an interesting idea but I don't really understand the use-case that is motivating this PR. Can you provide a sample test case and show how StepMock would make this type of test easier to implement?

@nre-ableton Sorry for my potentially "premature" comment, I have admittedly just started looking at jenkins pipeline (unit) testing and stumbled over this (interesting looking) PR... I actually hope/plan to really start using Jenkins Pipeline Unit this month, so maybe with more (or in fact some) experience of really using it, I hope to be able to comment here...
