- learn the Joomla codebase and participate in Pizza Bugs and Fun (PBF) sessions.
- Join any Pull request (PR) testing sessions that are announced and make sure to log in with your GitHub accounts to get full credit.
- Communicate in the open channels and ask any questions if unsure; there are no bad questions.
- Do Not communicate directly with the mentors as this duplicates work for them, better to aske and have your question answered in the open communication channels so that all may learn from your interactions.
- Submit high-quality work (code and documentation)
- Communicate regularly about progress, plans, and obstacles
- Re-evaluate work scope when significantly ahead or behind schedule
- Engage with both mentors and the broader Joomla community
- Promptly inform about any reduction in work capacity
- Respond constructively to feedback
