JPHP has the zend legacy extension, but you will have problems when you will work with it. We don't recommend to use this extension and try to use a better approach from the JPHP Standard Library.
One of the project goals is:
Replacing the ugly runtime library of Zend PHP with a better runtime library.
The all classes of the std library have a namespace that starts with php\:
-
php\lib- util classes for primitive types. -
php\io- IO, Files, Streams. -
php\sql- classes for working with SQL databases (like PDO). -
php\net- classes for working with network, sockets, http and ftp protocols. -
php\time- date and time classes -
php\android- classes for Android OS -
php\webserver- classes to implement own embedded web server (instead of mod_php + apache) -
php\util- misc classes - regex, scanners, flows, shared memory, etc. -
php\lang- system classes -
php\concurrent- classes for multithreading -
php\xml- for writing and reading xml
Our migration guide helps you use alternative classes and functions from JPHP Standard Library.
