The most recent PR to pyconcorde added the
-ansiflag to the build command insetup.py, which seems to have broken the ability to install the library on many Linux distributions (at least Ubuntu 22.04 and Ubuntu 24.04, and apparently Debian as well). I don't know the original impetus for adding the ansi flag, so this change may not be the correct approach.
