A web-based portal designed to streamline and manage the academic journey of PhD scholars. This application facilitates efficient tracking of research progress, document management, and communication between scholars and their supervisors.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Node.js (v16 or later)
• npm or yarn

Installation

1. Clone the repository:

   git clone https://github.com/kaushal1014/phd_scholar.git
   cd phd_scholar

2. Install dependencies:

   npm install
   # or
   yarn install

3. Configure Environment Variables:

   Create a .env file in the root directory and add the following:

   MONGODB_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string
   NEXTAUTH_URL=http://localhost:3000
   NEXTAUTH_SECRET=your_nextauth_secret

4. Run the development server:

   npm run dev
   # or
   yarn dev

   Open http://localhost:3000 in your browser to view the application.
