- 🎨 Customize appearance using the "Customize" button
- 📤 Copy or download the QR code using the buttons below
- 💾 Optionally save QR codes for later use with "Save"
- Depends on current user settings, but should be Ctrl + Shift + Q
- Right-click on any link and select "Generate QR code for this link"
- Right-click on a page and select "Generate QR code for this page"
- Select text, right-click, and select "Generate QR code for selected text"

⚠️ Currently, thumbnails are not preserved after reloading the extension. -
🔍 Search through saved QR codes by content, type, or tags
⚠️ Tag-based search is still under development and may not function as expected.

QR Nest is built using:
- 🌐 HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- 📊 QRCode.js for QR code generation
- 🎨 Spectrum for color picker functionality
- 🧩 Chrome/Firefox extension APIs
- 📥 Download the extension files (e.g., from GitHub)
- 🌐 Open Chrome and go to
chrome://extensions/ - ⚙️ Enable Developer mode (top-right corner)
- 📂 Click "Load unpacked"
- 📁 Select the extension folder (e.g.,
QR Nest)
- 📥 Download the extension files
- 🌐 Open Edge and go to
edge://extensions/ - ⚙️ Enable Developer mode (bottom-left corner)
- 📂 Click "Load unpacked"
- 📁 Select the extension folder (same as Chrome)
Both Chrome and Edge are built on Chromium, so you can use the same extension files in either browser. Choose whichever one you like — setup is identical!
