Description of contribution in a few bullet points

  • Removed outdated navigation files and configuration parameters.
  • Disabled shadows to enable faster simulation times.
  • Migrated to skid-steer drive to accurately represent the robot.
  • Adjusted launch files to call gazebo.launch.py with configurations.
  • Updated navigation launch file to use nav2 with Jazzy.

Description of how this change was tested

  • Proof of navigation is attached as a video in the README.
