Allows you to set the current happiness score. Perfect to test builds.

This mod doesn't change save files, so it's safe to use with any you have.

Updates shouldn't break the mod. But in case it does, please send me a message or post in the issues of this repository

It's important to uninstall first the mod manager if you have an old version. Also, do not update on the installer. The current mod manager is a custom one.

Install instructions:

  • Download "HappinessSetter.zip" file.
  • Unzip
  • Open "UnityModManager.exe"
  • Uninstall first if you have the manager installed.
  • Click Install with the doorstop proxy option pressed.
  • Click in the "Mod" tab. Right click in the happiness setter mod and click install. Uninstall first if you have an old version.
  • Open the game.
  • You can close the window of the mod manager and play the game as normal.

Use:

  • Press U to activate or deactivate the setter (without pressing shift). Whatever change you make can be reverted by pressing the U button again.
  • Press + to increase happiness or - to decrease the happiness bonus.
  • Pressing shift increases/decreases happiness value by 100
  • Pressing ctrl increases/decreases happiness value by 10
  • You can check the actual happiness bonus in a building that products something and at the bar on top left. The old version of the mod didn't change the value there. Now it does.

  • Unzip

  • Open the game.
