Project: User Feedback

A major help in assessing the quality of a project on LibreCores is feedback from other users. This feedback can both be structured (e.g. in the form of "likes" or short "questionaires"), or unstructured (in the form of plaintext reviews and comments).
- Define a refined project plan to add user feedback to the projects listing on LibreCores
- Discuss and iterate project plan
- Implement it
- Optional: define and calculate "overall happiness score" out of the reviews, which can be used for ranking projects according to how well they are liked.
-
"Community Rating" on Puppet Forge (the right side of https://forge.puppet.com/puppetlabs/stdlib)
- Structured reviews which are quick to answer
-
Amazon Product Reviews
- Two parts: (1) review itself (2) "X users found this review helpful"
-
There is also some research work in this regard, e.g. "Helpful to you is useful to me: The use and interpretation of social voting" (http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/download?doi=10.1.1.919.844&rep=rep1&type=pdf)
