### Multi-Controller Isolation

When running multiple WVA controllers in the same cluster (e.g., for parallel e2e tests or multi-tenant environments), use the `controllerInstance` configuration to prevent metrics conflicts between controllers.

#### How It Works

When `wva.controllerInstance` is set:
1. The controller adds a `controller_instance` label to all emitted metrics
2. The HPA selector includes `controller_instance` to filter metrics from the specific controller
3. Each controller only sees metrics from its own instance, preventing conflicts

#### Configuration

**Via Helm:**
```bash
helm install my-wva ./workload-variant-autoscaler \
-n my-namespace \
--set wva.controllerInstance="my-unique-instance-id"
```

**Via Environment Variable (install.sh):**
```bash
CONTROLLER_INSTANCE="my-unique-instance-id" ./deploy/install.sh
```

**Via values.yaml:**
```yaml
wva:
controllerInstance: "my-unique-instance-id"
```
