This repository accompanies the article "A model of macroalgal decomposition" in Ecological Modelling. I present a model to accurately describe macroalgal decomposition. Published versions of this repository are assigned digital object identifiers and stored on zenodo.org.
Simulation.R compares several parameterisations of the mathematical model through simulation, resulting in Figures 1 and S1 (see Figures). Examples.csv contains data from the published case studies used to illustrate the efficacy of the model. All statistical analyses are performed in Examples.R, resulting in all Tables 1, 2, S1–S4 (see Tables) and Figures 2–6, S2–S6 (see Figures). Stan contains all Stan models and Plots contains trace rank, pair and prior-posterior plots for all models. Manuscript contains the complete peer-review history of the article.
