Summary

Updates the website and documentation with honest, data-driven positioning based on our benchmark study.

Changes

Homepage (website/content/index.mdx)

  • Added version callout (v0.4.3) with link to release notes
  • Added "Built by engineers, for engineers" messaging
  • Added interactive before/after comparison tabs (grep chain vs dev_search)
  • Added example output showing what dev_search actually returns
  • Added measured results table (44% cost savings, 19% time reduction)
  • Added "When to use it" guidance with honest trade-offs
  • Simplified Mermaid architecture diagram

Docs (website/content/docs/index.mdx)

  • Updated intro to match new honest tone
  • Added benchmark data
  • Removed "hallucination" language

Other

  • .gitignore: Added studies/ for benchmark session logs
  • PLAN.md: Added v0.4.x roadmap with benchmark-driven improvements
  • README.md: Updated positioning with measured results

Key Messaging Changes

Before: "Deep code intelligence + AI subagents" / "superpowers"

After:

  • Lead with measurable results (44% cost, 19% time savings)
  • Honest trade-offs section ("faster but sometimes less thorough")
  • Clear "when to use / when not to use" guidance
  • No marketing fluff, just facts
