Mehmet Altıntaş

AI Engineering student focused on practical, deployable machine learning—especially computer vision, multimodal systems, and signal-based anomaly detection.

  • Based in: Ankara, Turkey
  • Currently: B.Sc. Artificial Intelligence Engineering @ TOBB University of Economics and Technology (expected 05/2026)
  • Interests: Video restoration/stabilization, lightweight ML for mobile/edge, robust evaluation & experimentation

Highlights

  • Research Intern (TOBB ETÜ, 2025): deep learning–based video stabilization; implemented and evaluated models including GaVS, Real-ESRGAN, ProPainter, E2FGVI, DSTNet-Plus using Python/PyTorch on Linux (Ubuntu).
  • R&D Intern (SAMM Teknoloji, 2023–2024): CNN-based anomaly detection for fiber optic distributed acoustic sensing (FOTAS); built a reproducible internal testing/evaluation tool; contributed to a web-based fiber optic cable design app.
