The goal is to remap every territory in the world. This however is just the begining. The goal? To create topographical maps of selected territories in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The project focuses on making visual the different elevations across the places such as the province of Equateur, Maniema, Haut-Katanga, Kongo-Central, North-Kivu, and Tshopo. I just wanted to use my skills and have a little bit fun.
- Elevation Data: SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) data for elevation.
- Geographic Boundaries: DRC administrative boundaries from [ReliefWeb].
Blend the hillshade with the elevation layer to create visual depth and better terrain visualization.
Design the complete map layout including:
- Map title
- Legend
- Scale bar
- North arrow
- Inset locator map
- Credits and data sources
Export the final maps as high-resolution PNG or JPEG files.
