Setting up a Discord Application

1. Go to the Discord developer pages for applications. Log in to your Discord account if necessary.

2. Click on Create an application to create your personal Soundbot.

   

3. On the next screen, type a name for your application. Then, click Save Changes in the bottom right corner.

   

4. Copy the CLIENT ID to your config.json.

   

5. In the Bot Settings Tab, click on Add Bot. In the modal, click Yes, do it!.

   

6. Finally, set the USERNAME of the bot as it should later appear on your server. Copy the TOKEN as depicted in the screenshot to your config.json.
