Convert the .iso file to .img using the convert option of hdiutil:

hdiutil convert -format UDRW -o /path/to/target /path/to/source.iso

find out usb disk:

diskutil list

burn to usb:

sudo dd if=/path/to/target.img of=/dev/rdiskN bs=10m
