yes I want to do something like this, probably with masks, but I haven't worked at it yet because I'll need to change a lot of stuff. but I would like yes to allow each block to have some flags like this. |

Added bitmasks to each block, not ideal solution but better than the existing solution.

also fixed a couple of typos in the function names.
