CookCLI is a self-hosted recipe management server that fits perfectly in the Home Server section.

Why it's great for self-hosting:

  • Privacy-first recipe management (no cloud dependencies)
  • Plain-text format (Cooklang) for recipes
  • Beautiful web UI accessible from any device
  • Shopping list generation and meal planning
  • Low resource usage - perfect for Raspberry Pi
  • Written in Rust for performance and reliability
  • Active development and community

This is especially relevant for the self-hosting community as it provides an alternative to cloud-based recipe services like Paprika, allowing users to maintain full control over their recipe data.
