Remaining cleanups for CSOT branch

Release Highlight

Double check the following

  • Ran npm run check:lint script
  • Self-review completed using the steps outlined here

    • Example: feat(NODE-1234)!: rewriting everything in coffeescript
  • Changes are covered by tests

as long as we're improving this, can we update all these to actually be meaningful? e.g. does not set timeout or explain when no arguments are provided, sets only timeout when only timeoutMS is provided

I was able to unskip some of the tests that were marked with the closed cursor ticket, the two that are still skipped are related to the runCursorCommand tests that we got a driver ticket for this morning: #4312 - they fail unfortunately because it appears we are retrying the getMores on runCursorCommand which we are not supposed to. That is a bug we can look into separately from CSOT, not a blocker.
