Removed a lot of clutter, made it conform to markdown.

The repository contained a lot of autogenerated files, build files and OS specific files that should not be committed to version control systems like Git.
The added .gitignore files remove these unncesseary files, most of which will be generated automatically by the users' own machines.
This makes for less files to download and a simpler repository.
