Why did we deprecate Discord?

I'm missing the rationale. To what I understand, there is not much maintenance needed for it. Context on why it was created: https://www.notion.so/mui-org/Discord-15a9e90295664c3591b7d1d28080b971?source=copy_link#bd1c0e29045e4a94ae4d1f5ef923cc84, those reasons still seem to apply.

It looks like we do need one, e.g. for the same reason people ask for it in shadcn-ui/ui#1426. So, what would be wrong with undoing mui/material-ui#47858?

We need a place like Discord for the community to collaborate; it's not a place to report bugs.
So, let's keep it, community-driven. Add it back to the docs, simply making it clear it's not actively maintained.
Normally, Base UI Discord is going in the same trajectory; it was more used by the product team in the early days, and now, as it's getting more stable, the community is taking a larger share of the voice.
