👋 Hi, I'm Mikel Sagardia!

I'm a data scientist and machine learning engineer with a passion for all things related to AI. I have a PhD at the intersection of robotics, virtual simulations, and human-machine interfaces. However, since 2017, my interests have progressively shifted toward applications that combine computer vision and natural language processing.

When our second kid was born in 2020, we moved back to San Sebastián after 14 years in Munich. I currently work remotely for Deutsche Telekom. Previously, I worked at the Institute of Robotics @ German Aerospace Center (DLR), MVTec, and Vicomtech.
