Hi Kyle,
This is a low priority PR - we've removed proteus-js-protobuf from the npm registry in favor of rsocket-rpc-protobuf, so I migrated this project to the latter. I also removed tracking the node_modules folders from git for more manageable commits. The protobuf files seem to build with no problems - I wasn't able to test everything in the project, but I can confirm that the proteus-chat-demo still works as expected.
