This service reports on HLA-DPB1 alleles and their associated immunogenicity groups and provides matching functions. The immunogenicity groups are assigned based on the functional distance scores of the alleles. To learn more about this checkout this paper.
DPB1 alleles are classified by immunogeneticity into 3 groups. Numbers indicate the group of the HLA-DPB1 alleles of the donor or of the recipient. Classification of HLA-DPB1 mismatches as permissive or non permissive in GvH or in HvG direction is indicated for all possible combinations.
- MATCH: Includes donors with DPB1 alleles that are either allele matched or antigen recognition site matched to the patient’s alleles.
- PERMISSIVE: Includes donors with DPB1 alleles considered to be permissive (do not result in a poor clinical outcome) to the patient’s alleles.
-
NON-PERMISSIVE: includes donors with DPB1 alleles considered to be non-permissive (do result in a poor clinical outcome) to the patient’s alleles in either host vs graft direction or the graft vs host direction.
- HVG_NONPERMISSIVE: Host vs Graft non-permissive mismatch
- GVH_NONPERMISSIVE: Graft vs Host non-permissive mismatch
- POTENTIAL: includes donors where the final match assignment cannot be determined without further typing.
