Description

This simply adds the new param for Claude 3.7 Sonnet to the Anthropic adapter and makes it default. It does not make the changes necessary to enable the thinking/reasoning mode.

Cheers @clintmiller. You're almost as fast as the Anthropic marketing team 😉. Is 3.7 GA for everyone? Just being mindful of setting this as the default for everyone.

Is 3.7 GA for everyone?

Seems like yes. From the blog post:

Claude 3.7 Sonnet is now available on all Claude plans—including Free, Pro, Team, and Enterprise—as well as the Anthropic API, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Cloud’s Vertex AI.

Per: https://www.anthropic.com/news/claude-3-7-sonnet

Claude 3.7 Sonnet is now available on all Claude plans—including Free, Pro, Team, and Enterprise—as well as the Anthropic API, Amazon Bedrock, and Google Cloud’s Vertex AI. Extended thinking mode is available on all surfaces except the free Claude tier.

Seems like it's GA and w/ the same pricing.

I have a PR almost ready to go which also adds extended thinking and extended output. There's no harm in merging this now though, and adding those features later.

@gstokkink go ahead 👍🏼. Hadn't realised how quick GitHub had supported it.
