As a navigator I was expecting this, and couldn't understand why I was getting incorrect results, but it turns out that the GEOJSON standard is for longitude to go before latitude, hence why it has in this as well, so I suspect it will stay that way. |

Latitude should be read from the first position of the coordinates-tuple, longitude from the second.
