This repository provides a code designed to simulate realistic observations for SKA-low incorporating various sky models, instrumental effects, and ionospheric distortions.
Specifically, the code incorporates the following featuers:
- Simulating diffuse emission using the Global Sky Model (GSM2016).
- Incorporating compact sources from catalogs such as GLEAM and T-RECS.
- Adding ionospheric distortions using ARatmospy.
- Simulating instrumental effects, including thermal noise and gain errors.
- Including bright all-sky sources (A-team sources) with attenuation.
