This fixes #2430.
Due to an upgrade of some testing tools, I needed to adjust many compilation errors in the ui-tests, as previously the typescript compilation errors weren't taken into account.
Please verify that I didn't break anything, this PR is touching a wide range of the testing code base as well as some of the sources and I am a newcomer to this project.
There was a problem with the integration tests for the Typescript autocompletion which might be a problem specific to my platform. All other tests are passing.
