This is a partial backport of PR 12341. Specifically: - set the device_id correctly in check_addr() - fix unified memory detection/reporting - get_buffer_id: fix the buffer_id argument passed to the hip call bot:notacherrypick Signed-off-by: Edgar Gabriel <[email protected]>
