Thanks @alharrison for this proposal and the added responsibility you're willing to take on: Much appreciated! I'm approving this even though I think further clean-up is necessary: I for one should be dropped from the Committers list as I'm not sufficiently active in this sub project any more to warrant that designation. The same review should be done for all people listed. Feedback --maybe in further PRs-- solicited by @geedo0 @xuganyu96 @dstebila

Hey @baentsch , I've removed you from the committers list. I have left you on the release manager list. Let me know if that is in error. |
Thanks @alharrison . It indeed is (in error): Release Managers in OQS have maintainer rights and I don't want to create wrong impressions (to users) and expectations (to true Committers & Maintainers) as to what I (can :) truly do. Yes, I know, a "weird" attitude in a world of "make believe" and "alternative facts". |

@alharrison Would you be willing to spend 1 min on fixing up the DCO error message as per the link above? I'd otherwise merge regardless as I still consider DCO a pretty pointless checkbox filling exercise that's easily fooled anyway (unlike explicit CLAs -- particularly in the age of AI). |
