Prepare first official release

This ticket is to track the must-haves before we can do a first release. Feel free to comment with any additional suggestions or feedback on this list. The items here are based on three criteria:

1. Features/capabilities necessary to replace the functionality of the site editor
2. Changes that would significantly break backwards compatibility to release later
3. Fixes for bugs that are blatantly detrimental to user experience for an average user

Realistically I don't think we'll have headcount available to put together a detailed guide in the foreseeable future, but I bet @TheConstructAi will want to put together some courses after the release is finished.

Ok, but hopefully that provides a basic usage guide.I try to install it in win10，but it cant export the nav yaml.Then I install it in Ubuntu24.04 of wsl2 and it work,Now I don't know how to use site.json instead of building.yaml on launch file.

But the code still uses building.yaml instead of site.json.Can the editor still export the building.yaml configuration file?

Thanks for pointing that out, that needs to be corrected. I believe common.launch.xml is using the .building.yaml for the map server, which we'll replace with rmf_site_map_server which can use the new .site.json format. We'll get that updated before we merge the PR.
