Version 1.0 should have stable Tracing, Baggage and Context APIs and SDK implementations.
Due by May 30, 2021•37/37 issues closedThe goal is to have meet with the Alpha release feature parity according to https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-specification/milestone/7 The secondary goal is to have a working tracing API/SDK, so other languages can experiment with the interop support (e.g. Python could use opentelemetry-native-sdk rather than the pure Python opentelemetry-sdk). Currently the C++ SDK is not tracked in "Current SIG Progress" section, we should get it tracked once we're ready for alpha release.
