since there are breaking changes to the experimental profiling signal in v1.5.0, maybe we should wait until this is merged in the core repo in case anyone is using the experimental profiling signal in a Java agent extension?

I think we can merge this because, as far as I can tell, this dependency is only used for testing the agent. We don't bundle it in the agent and we don't include it in the bom. It is only used in the smoke tests.
