Welcome to the OCP Datacenter Diagnostics and Debug Workstream.

This workstream is part of the OCP Hardware Management Project

This workstream is open to the public and we welcome all those who would like to be involved.

Charter

Datacenter Diagnostics and Debug The Datacenter Diagnostics and Debug workstream will address diagnosing and debugging components and nodes within a datacenter across the lifecycle of the datacenter.
The following areas are within the scope of the Workstream:

Create documents that prescribes an architecture including interfaces, protocols, APIs, and data models that communicate diagnostic and debug data across the datacenter.

Analysis existing architectures, interfaces, protocols, APIs, and data models with standards bodies to incorporate and/or improve the effectiveness of these for diagnosing and debugging in the datacenter. Scalability across the lifecycle of the datacenter including but not limited to accessible ports, diagnostic and debug capabilities, and security and privacy requirements.

The workstream will also work with other existing workstreams to enable reuse of similar constructs.
