Welcome to the CalcZAF wiki!

This repository contains the complete VB6 code base for the CalcZAF, Standard and CalMAC Windows applications which run under Microsoft Windows or Parallels on the Mac.

CalcZAF is an EPMA utility for modeling intensities from compositions or calculating composition from intensities using interative methods based on analytical/numerical models and also Monte-Carlo derived k-ratios using the alpha method. Standard is a standard database and also includes GUIs for Penepma and Penfluor Monte Carlo FORTRAN programs for modeling intensities from concentrations for various geometries. CalMAC is a simple GUI for the MacMaster MAC calculation code (W. H. McMaster, N. Kerr Del Grande, J. H. Mallet and J. H. Hubbell, "Compilation of x-ray cross sections ", Lawrence Livermore Lab., 1969)
