Description
This is using some lessons learned from explorations done in #3136 and other knowledge gained in meantime.
As opposed to previous PR - this is meant to be much smaller change mainly addressing no longer relying on standalone server for routing and therefore decreasing lambda sizes and improving cold starts. Goal is to minimilize amount of changes and start adopting the API incrementaly providing some improvements in each step instead of doing one massive change that would take a very long time to complete and have a very long running branch
This is very work-in-progress, but some very basic things are working.
