Hi maintainers! We would also like to contribute Hotspot to the benchmark. It is a well-established method that we believe would complement the existing collection nicely.
Method Overview
Hotspot identifies spatially variable genes using local autocorrelation statistics on a nearest-neighbor graph constructed from spatial coordinates, with the DANB (depth-adjusted negative binomial) count model.
