Completed comprehensive analysis of README.md and CONTRIBUTING.md for contributor listings as requested in the issue.
Findings
After thorough examination of both files, no individual contributor listings were found that require alphabetical sorting:
Repository Pattern
This repository follows a common pattern for example repositories by referencing shared governance structures from the main OpenTelemetry repositories rather than maintaining duplicate local contributor listings.
Result
No changes were required as there are no existing individual contributor listings to sort alphabetically by first name, and no emeritus member listings requiring company affiliation removal.
Fixes #12.
