Learn about vigilant mode.

  • Microservices passwords are now sourced dynamically. If an OCI Vault ocid exists, microservices obtain the the db password from the vault directly, else they access it from a k8s secret. This is transparent to the user as it is set during initial setup.

  • The atpaqadmin folder, microservice, deployment, and service have been renamed to admin-helidon and admin accordingly.

  • The initialDelaySeconds value of the order-helidon microservice has been increased to 220 (seconds) in order to avoid potential restarts due to delay in obtained the initial connection to the db.

Tested and used by workshops.
