So happy to see this official transition! Having led iCub Tech for so long, it’s a pleasure to see the team rebranding as MESH to tackle the next generation of embodied systems. Huge congrats to @pattacini and the whole team on this milestone. Looking forward to continued collaboration and seeing the incredible work MESH will produce from here on out! |

Dear @robotology/everyone 👋🏻
We are officially announcing that iCub Tech has transitioned to MESH (Mechatronics for Embodied Systems and Humanoids).
Following the launch of the startup Generative Bionics and the departure of several long-standing colleagues, our team remains dedicated to research in humanoid platforms and embodied systems within IIT. After more than 20 years of iCub serving as our flagship platform, we are now looking toward new technical challenges in the field.
⚙️ Support and Maintenance
We will continue to provide full support for the numerous iCub units currently in use both internally at IIT and across our global network. For all hardware-related support, please refer to the new repository https://github.com/robotology/mesh-support.
➡️ GitHub Migration Details
Our GitHub organization has been renamed from
icub-tech-iittomesh-iit. While most links will automatically redirect, the following exceptions require manual updates:mesh-iitdomain.We look forward to continuing our work within the community under this new identity. Thank you for your continued collaboration as we move into this next phase of humanoid robotics research.
