Part3D Bridge for macOS & Linux — First Release
This is the first release of Part3D Bridge for macOS and Linux. Part3D Bridge is a lightweight desktop app that lets you send STL files from Part3D on iPad directly to your slicer—no cables, no manual copying.

- Support for older Intel-based mac.

- Modern Linux distribution with system tray support
- AppImage-compatible environment (no installation required)

- iPad and desktop device on the same local network
Installation
macOS
- Download the DMG from the Assets below.
- Open the DMG and drag Part3D Bridge to Applications.
- Launch Part3D Bridge from Applications or Spotlight.
- The app will appear in the menu bar; your iPad can then discover it when you use Part3D.
Linux (AppImage)
- Download the AppImage from the Assets below.
- Make it executable:
chmod +x Part3D-Bridge.AppImage - Run it
- The app will appear in your system tray and be discoverable from Part3D on iPad.
Getting started
- Start Part3D Bridge on your desktop (menu bar / tray icon).
- Open Part3D on your iPad and use the send-to-slicer flow.
- Approve your iPad when prompted (first time only).
- STL files will open in your default or chosen slicer.
