instantiate with

require ECMC_config

optionally with MACROS, see below for deatils.

Environment variables

ECMC_CONFIG_ROOT: root of this module. To be more flexible.
ECMC_CONFIG_DB: where the databases, templates and substitutions live.
EthercatMC_DB: same for EthercatMC
STREAM_PROTOCOL_PATH: path to streamDevice protocol files
