Project Details
The inspiration for Greenify stems from the growing need to address environmental challenges and promote sustainable living. With the rise of urbanization and technology, we wanted to create a platform that merges innovation with eco-consciousness. Greenify aims to empower individuals and communities to take actionable steps toward a greener future by leveraging technology to make sustainability accessible and engaging. Just capture a photo of any place (balcony, roadside, basement etc.) with your phone and allow location capturing, Perplexity automatically analyzes the photo and suggests suitable plants/trees for that location. Furthermore, it searches for like-minded people in locality and creates a community for sustainable, economic and social growth in the area.
What makes this contribution valuable to other developers?
This project includes usage of both Sonar Pro and Sonar Deep Research APIs along with image analysis and structured JSON output. Also this project shows a backend and frontend mobile app integration and shows functionalities like image, location capturing and sending the data for analysis. This will be very useful for developers using Expo and Flask.
