Oh also reminds me that the correct afinate is the one from my fork and I need to raise a PR....

I'm going to build a repo that converts fonts so people can just PR the font they want from Google Fonts and it'll convert everything and package it up.

I tried replacing the afinate from feature/alright-fonts (which seems to produce fonts that work) with the one from your fork and it now crashes out with errors like this (I tried using high and medium quality):

Oof, the 16-bit version should allow for much bigger contours than 286 if I'm remembering how it should work.

What font are you converting there?

Oh you need to replace python_alright_fonts too since that's where the encoder and stuff live!
