This repository brings together 7 templates for customized Copilot summaries in Microsoft Teams, designed to improve productivity during meetings and generate clear, structured, and reusable minutes.

“Explain it to me as if I wasn’t there”

Purpose: Understand the meeting even if you couldn’t attend or missed parts of it.
Typical use case:

➜ Planning or Initiative Kickoff Meeting Minutes

Purpose: Clearly define the purpose, scope, and first steps of a new project or initiative.
Example prompt:

Generate the minutes of a planning or initiative kickoff meeting using the following structure:

- Initiative objective and brief context.
- Agreed scope (what is included and what is excluded).
- Key deliverables and success criteria.
- Roles and responsibilities of each participant.
- Key milestones and estimated dates.
- First actions to be taken after this meeting.

Use a professional and project-oriented tone.

➜ Meeting Minutes with External Stakeholders

Purpose: Document conversations with leadership, clients, or other departments, clearly capturing expectations and commitments.
Example prompt:

Generate minutes oriented to external stakeholders using the following structure:

- Purpose of the meeting and participants.
- Topics discussed from the stakeholder’s perspective.
- Stakeholder needs, expectations, or objectives.
- Commitments made on our side.
- Commitments made by the stakeholder (if any).
- Next relevant milestone (meeting, delivery, decision).

Use a clear, diplomatic tone suitable for sharing by email.

➜ Training Session or Technical Workshop Minutes

Purpose: Capture key knowledge from a training session or technical workshop.
Example prompt:

Generate a summary of a training session or technical workshop with the following structure:

- Session objective and target audience.
- Main topics covered, with a brief description of each.
- Practical examples or demos shown.
- Frequently asked questions and the answers provided.
- Recommendations or additional resources mentioned.
- Suggested next steps after the session.

Use an educational and learning-oriented tone.

➜ Internal Control and Compliance Review Minutes

Purpose: Record findings, evidence, and actions related to compliance or internal audit.
Example prompt:

Generate internal control and compliance review minutes using the following structure:

- Scope of the review (processes, areas, systems).
- Findings identified, with a brief description.
- Evidence mentioned during the meeting.
- Classification of each finding (critical, high, medium, low).
- Proposed corrective actions, including owners and estimated timelines.
- Associated risks if actions are not implemented.

Use a formal and precise tone.

➜ Risk Analysis and Assessment Meeting Minutes

Purpose: Manage risks in an organized way, especially in IT or project environments.
Example prompt:

Generate risk analysis and assessment minutes using the following structure:

- List of identified risks.

For each risk:
  - Description
  - Impact (low, medium, high)
  - Probability (low, medium, high)
  - Proposed mitigation
  - Responsible for follow-up

- Summary of the most critical risks.
- Next actions for reviewing or updating risks.

Use a clear, risk-management-oriented tone.

➜ Team Retrospective or Evaluation Minutes

Purpose: Capture lessons learned after a sprint, project, or major phase.
Example prompt:

Generate the minutes of a team retrospective or evaluation using the following structure:

- What worked well.
- What did not work or blocked progress.
- Improvement ideas proposed by the team.
- Concrete actions to be implemented.

➜ “Action Plan” Minutes After Operational Meetings

Purpose: Leave operational meetings with a clear, executable plan.
Example prompt:

Generate “action plan” style minutes using the following structure:

- Very brief summary of the topics discussed.

- List of decisions made.

- List of actions including:
  - Description
  - Owner
  - Target date
  - Dependencies (if any)
  - Identified risks or blockers

- Next follow-up date.

Use a very practical, execution-focused tone.

Custom Copilot summaries for Teams turn meeting minutes into something far more useful and reusable.
The key is designing strong prompts and saving them as your own templates for each meeting type.

I invite you to:

  • Adapt these templates to your context and team
  • Version them in your own repo (e.g., copilot-templates/)
  • Share new prompt ideas for other scenarios

Do you have a template you’d like to add?
Contributions are open! 😄

This prompt analyzes a set of business decisions and identifies potential cognitive biases that may affect objectivity and decision quality. For each bias detected, the system provides:

- Bias type (e.g., confirmation, anchoring, availability)
- Potential impact on the decision (High/Medium/Low)
- Textual evidence of the bias
- Practical recommendation to mitigate it

Ideal for: AI teams, consultants, analysts, and decision-makers aiming to improve strategic thinking and reduce systematic errors in business processes.

Automates bias detection using generative AI, promotes critical thinking, and delivers actionable recommendations—all in one workflow.
Added a comprehensive guide on using AI prompts for sales strategies, including prospecting, objection handling, closing, post-sale follow-up, and performance analysis.
Added a comprehensive collection of AI prompts for sales processes, covering prospecting, negotiation, closing, post-sale follow-up, and performance analysis. Each section includes suggested prompts, explanations, and examples for effective usage.
