feature-release: experimental multi-bridge support
Exiting news! "lampe" is back again! This pre-release features experimental multi-bridge support.
You can now add up to 10 bridges by hitting B and a number. If there is no existing bridge with that number you will be asked to add one like you did the first time you started "lampe". After that you can switch between your bridges with B and the designated number. Default settings are global, but light states will be saved for each bridge individally.
Known issues with workarounds:
- Oneshot mode currently only works for the default bridge 0.
- The new bridge wizard still only finds the first bridge in your network. But you can manually enter IPs and you are good to go adding more bridges.
- The README.md is not up-to-date yet
What's next:
- Known issues will be adressed before the final stable release (> 1.2.0) of this pre-release.
- The final stable release will discontinue the GUI version lampe-gtk (a version based on libadwaita is not planned yet, but I hope to start it someday as a seperate project).
lampe: new pre-release, new mood-sequence
With this release you get a new mood-sequence which is based on your local time. The temperature-difference based mood-sequence was removed. With this release some unused internal functions have been removed as well.
lampe: bugfix-release
This is mainly a bugfix-release for lampe and lampe-gtk. This time there are some enhancements, too; look and see. (:
- support new tmd for mood-sequence
- improve colors for popular themes in terminal
- lampe-gtk: don't crash on unsupported schedules
- improved Makefile
lampe: bugfix-release
This is just a bugfix-release for lampe-gtk. There ar no new features in this version. PLease enjoy it anyway. (:
lampe: new pre-release, oneshot-mode
This pre-release features the new oneshot mode for lampe (-bash). Furthermore the redshift sequence was simplified.
Enjoy and stay tuned for the next pre-release. (:
lampe: new pre-release, support for new bridge-firmware
In tradition of pre-leases, enjoy new features and bugfixes:
- support new bridge-firmware: register at bridge will still work with older versions of the firmware
- new noise-sequence
- configure parameters for sequences: mood and noise
- blind-mode is now less blind: option "i" will show the current state
- updated help and readme
- bugfix: show light states in lampe-gtk if user name is other than "lampe-bash"
Feel free to report any bugs. (:
lampe: an optimized pre-release
This release has optimizations for the redshift sequence introduced earlier. Now the interval is one minute during change of temperature color and 10 minutes when nothing changes.
lampe: a new pre-release
This new pre-release features redshift-support as a sequence and minor bugfixes for the mood-sequence in lampe(-bash).
As always, enjoy the new release. It's awesome. (:
lampe: new pre-release
This release has no functional changes. The Makefile was changed to be compatible with package managers like portage on Gentoo.
lampe-gtk: second pre-release
This new pre-release features a newer version of the graphical version of "lampe" and some bugfixes for the bash-version.
lampe(-bash):
- support for some non-Hue lights
- global on/off switch
- bugfix: works now with
urxvt
lampe-gtk has experimental support for schedules:
- enable/disable existing schedules
There is more to come!
