Introduction

The process consists of collecting all the necessary information to be able to make the rating: we’ll need the inventory (All cost components of the provider like containers, virtual machines, balancers…​ with their allocated resources) and metrics (All usable units related with the resource like cores, memory, storage between the dates that we wanna calculate the rating).

The PricePlan define all applicable rates for a user

• Provider : The entity that provide the service (AWS-Amazon Web Service, Azure, GCP-Google Cloud Platform, RHEV, OpenStack, OpenShift…​)

• Resource : Entity/Component in an infrastructure with cost: container, virtual machine, load balancer …​

• Rate : Define de method of rating for each resource or set of resources coulding be a ocurrence, duration or quantity rating
