The latest available BL 9 release will get tested in CI with '~> 9.0.0.beta'. -- I tested it, it will definitely get 9.0.0 or 9.0.1 once they are out.

Still, even if not necessary, this is a good thing to clean up once BL 9.0.0 is out! Which it looks like it is, ok!

Yes, true! The only thing that is absolutely necessary in this PR is updating the gemspec to allow 9.0.0 and above, not just prereleases (as the current < 9 does in main).

Ah, thanks, I hadn't noticed we needed that.

Since Blacklight (I think?) does backwards incompat on minor versions (like Rails does), do you think we should do < 9.1 instead?
