Mark the languages that are in the language switcher with an asterisk.

We could mark them some other way too, if you've got a better idea?

Separate "switcher" column with UTF-8 tick and cross characters could be more obvious to read? Though we take this way space for other data in table. Also we probably would still need an asterisk near to column name as bare "switcher" without a comment could be too mysterious.

docsbuild-scripts/config.toml also provides information if the language is being build/published on docs.python.org (indirectly 0 in visitors column says which languages are not, though it may not be obvious). Maybe we could add ¹ instead of asterisk and ² with a comment "Language is published on docs.python.org and it's not in the switcher." or similar.

Also those superscript characters could link to published docs? 🤔 Or taking further the new column idea, that could be "build" column with values:

  • in switcher
  • only published

where "in switcher" and "only published" would link to the production builds.

We can improve it in a follow-up PR(s), but I'm highly interested about your opinion(s).

Yes, I think this sounds better.

I've updated this PR to include a "build" column and for now only shows "in switcher" (linked to the docs) or " ".
